I have lived in the South Bay for more than 30 years, proudly calling San Pedro home since birth. Growing up here gave me a deep appreciation for the communities that make this part of Los Angeles such a special place to live. San Pedro, Palos Verdes, and the Beach Cities are each unique in their own way, yet they all share a common South Bay coastal vibe.
Before becoming a real estate agent, I spent four years working in escrow at Neighborhood Escrow in Torrance, where I had the opportunity to work on more than 1,500 real estate transactions. That experience gave me an inside look at nearly every type of situation buyers and sellers can encounter – lender issues, title complications, complex negotiations, trusts, probates, divorces, corporations, and more. Working in escrow also helped me understand the nuances of each local market, transaction requirements, and pricing trends, while building strong relationships with other real estate professionals throughout the South Bay.
It quickly became clear that the real estate exam barely scratches the surface of what agents actually need to know to properly guide their clients. My time in escrow gave me a level of practical experience that continues to shape how I advise buyers and sellers today. Real estate is often the largest financial decision of a person’s life, and I believe it deserves careful strategy, thoughtful guidance, and attention to detail every step of the way. Today, I specialize in helping buyers and sellers navigate the San Pedro real estate market while also serving clients throughout Palos Verdes, the Beach Cities, and the greater South Bay.
I then began working with Suzanne Dyer, a 30-year veteran who was ranked the #2 agent in Palos Verdes and #5 in the entire South Bay. This is where I learned the mastery of marketing and advertising homes, negotiating contracts, and managing complex transactions while providing white-glove service to my clients. It has been 12 years since I began my real estate journey. From 1,500 escrows, to Rookie of the Year at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, and now the #2 closing agent at Strand Hill Properties – I can genuinely say that I love what I do and I am proud to have built a solid business that runs 80% on referrals from past clients. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of buyers and sellers successfully navigate the San Pedro and South Bay real estate markets.
On the personal side, I am happily married to my second-grade sweetheart and we share two amazing daughters, surrounded by our family and friends. San Pedro is truly home for us – both my wife and I are third-generation Pedro residents who come from fisherman and longshoreman families. Like many locals, I’ve spent years enjoying the classic South Bay lifestyle – surfing and playing volleyball at the beach, hiking and bike riding on the hilly trails, and enjoying the authentic restaurants it has to offer. When I have extra time, we love to go snowboarding or relax in the desert. Though lately my life has consisted mainly of work and family, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
